You have to do is to put links on your site. These links come in the form of banners, text links, and a number of other more sophisticated types of links. The HTML code for these links is supplied to you by online merchants. You can put these links anywhere you want on your site. Merchants may even help you figure out how to place your links so that they are most effective.

A visitor comes to your site. If the visitor clicks on one of the links you have put up, that visitor goes to the merchant's site. If that visitor buys something on the merchant's site, you get a commission.

In some cases, affiliates are compensated even if the visitor doesn't buy anything, just for having driven traffic to the merchant's site. In still other cases, affiliates can be compensated just for putting the link up on their site. The affiliate's reward varies from merchant to merchant and program to program, depending on the terms of the merchant's offer.

Q  HOW MUCH I CAN EARN?

It's totally up to you. The more you put into your business, the more you get out of it. A mainly passive, part time effort can eventually generate a few hundred dollars each and every month. Q  What qualifications  are required?

Most affiliate programs require no special training, skills or any university degree. Even if you are unaware of programming or lack of knowledge of computers ,it will not hamper your progress. But you must have ability of follow the instructions which are easy to follow, understand and master quickly. No need to be computer expert

PROMOTE YOUR URL. Basically, all you need to do is refer people to your exclusive  Website that Company provide to you when you registered

PUT YOUR URL(web site) ON EVERYTHING ! It's extremely easy to do! You just post a link, a banner, or a short recommendation letter on your web site… or perhaps recommend the product or service in your newsletter or e-zine…and then collect a percentage of the profits when a sale is made!  

The most successful Web marketers are all proactive. The easiest way to be proactive is to publish your URL on your stationery (letterhead, business cards, envelopes, etc.).

If you run any kind of ad, make sure your URL is in it. Print it on little peel & stick labels and affix them to everything that you put out. Make up a “mini-flier” with your URL on it that you can insert with all your outgoing bills (yes, I mean personal bills, too, like your water bill and electric bill. Don’t you think people that open mail 8 hours a day might be interested in doing something better with their lives?)
